Celebrating the arrival of spring with Starbucks’ new range of iced beverages through a mixed-reality experience.

To debut Starbucks' NEW Iced Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, we created an animation to accentuate its unexpected joy. The drink is presented to the audience in a real-life setting, and suddenly as someone grabs the drink, magical animations flourish where the drink once was. Finding balance between the real and surreal, we included details such as butterflies and blossoming lavender that transform the scene into something whimsical and playful.

The scene is shot in a real-world environment. In post-production, VFX effects are added, creating flourishes of an alternative floral animated world.
