Working with a small team of 3D artists and a sound design agency, we oversaw the full creative process, from concept development and storyboarding through production and post-production. Our team handled the environment design, 3D modeling, lighting, and animation direction, followed by compositing and editing. We also collaborated with a sound design studio to craft custom audio for the mascara campaign, enhancing its immersive quality.
The mascara campaign, marking Haus Labs’ first mascara launch in Sephora, is set in a sleek and mesmerizing chrome-and-black world. Our goal was to visually capture the product's skincare innovation, with fluid forms representing the nourishment and strength the formula brings to lashes.
In contrast, the highlighter campaign explored a brighter, ethereal atmosphere inspired by a futuristic beauty lab - a nod to Haus Labs’ focus on science and innovation. Our objective was to showcase the Glassy Balm Highlighter's stunning range of colors and its unique high-quality formula, featuring sea fennel and wakame. We directed this video with an “ASMR” approach in mind, utilizing visual effects and sound design to create a satisfying and whimsical world within an ephemeral beauty lab.
